Hey, I'm Fig! If you don't know me, I've worked as a ghost writer for the past two years writing romance novels and have been channeling my fandom brainworms into fics on AO3 for even longer. Terms The following are general outlines for my commissions.
All fics posted to AO3 as soon as they're completed
All commissions can either remain anonymous or can be gifted on AO3 (up to your preference)
If there are any edits you would like to make, I will allow one round of notes after completion for minor changes. Large edits/rewrites will be subject to an additional charge based on the size of the changes.
If you'd like to read and approve the outline before the fic is written, please ask! I am happy to have your input, but if you do not ask I will assume I'm free to go ahead and write once outlining is done
Updates will be given at important milestones (finished outline, halfway done, etc). Feel free to ask for updates throughout, but know the schedule I assign is the schedule I will work within--fics are not guaranteed to be finished before the due date
By reserving a commission slot with me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the information on this page and in each of the tabs above.
Payment and Pricing
Payment Commissions are paid when the slot is reserved and details are agreed upon. The slot will remain open until payment is received. All payments made through Ko-Fi or Venmo.Commissions paid through Ko-fi will have an additional fee to cover Paypal's fees. There is no additional fee for Venmo payments.Price Tiers Prices are tiered based on length. If you're not sure how long you want/how many words your prompt will require or if you have a particular budget already in mind, feel free to message me!All Prices are in USD.
1k-3k - $16/1k words
3.5k-6k - $15/1k words
6.5k-10k - $14/1k words
10.5k+ - $13/1k words
Ko-Fi Fees Additional fees for payments made through Ko-Fi are as follows:
1k-3k - +$2
3.5k-6k - +$4
6.5k-10k - +$6
10.5k+ - Will be calculated based on the order
Note - Word counts are minimums. I can and will write over the agreed word count, but how much over is up to my discretion. No one is expected to pay for extra words--those are for me to ensure I'm not constricted by the amount. If, for your own reading enjoyment, you prefer I not write much over the decided word count, please let me know when reserving your slot so I can plan my pace accordingly.
Important! Please do not use "Yakuza" if commissioning for RGG, "fanfiction," or "commission" in your payment note. You can simply use "fic request," character names, or something similarly non-specific.
All commissions are non-refundable. If you have an issue after reserving a slot, please contact me ASAP.
Schedule and Availability
Slots Commissions are slotted on a first come, first served basis. Commissions may be finished sooner than the promised date but will not be finished later. For commissions over 10k words, I reserve the right to alter the slot due date to allow an appropriate amount of time for completion.Slot openings will be updated here as they become available.
